Hell's Kitchen Flea Market got a nice write-up on AOL's "Ellen Across America" webpages for The Ellen Degeneres Show.
Since the city's beloved Annex Flea Market moved from Chelsea to the Hell's Kitchen hood a few years ago, history has come full circle. From the 1870s-1930s, the area was home to Paddy's Market, a stretch of concrete where it's said city folks could buy anything from "bedroom slippers to beans, from eels to end tables." Today, an entire street block is cordoned off for [up to] 170 vendors.... Paddy would be proud.
